Citybox Oslo - Ticks All the Right Boxes
Let's face it. Hotels can be expensive. They also tend to take up a large part of your budget, especially in big cities. Oslo is known for being expensive, so where do you stay without breaking the bank? I often find that to get a cheap (but modern) hotel, you have to look outside of the touristy areas. The downside of this is that you have a longer trek back to your room after what has probably been a long, tiring day of exploring the city. Who wants that? Yes, I have been known to compromise location for price, BUT not this time! Citybox was the perfect location for my first night in Oslo. I had a late flight, so I was really happy that it was less than a 5 minute walk from the central train station. This meant that it was also ideally located for the Opera House, the main shopping streets and the waterfront. Their concept is simple. They provide simple yet modern and stylish rooms, in order to keep their costs down. The result? Incredibly cheap room prices! They also have a self service check-in machine, so it couldn't be easier to get your room key. Why not start your trip off by saving, rather than spending?
I couldn't recommend staying here more, especially if you want to be right around the corner from the central train station, and right on the doorstep of attractions like the Opera House! Click here to check out their website! Happy exploring!
