Who doesn't love a gorgeous hotel? I think it's safe to say no one. If you're wondering where to stay in Frankfurt, QGREENHOTEL by Meliá is one of the best hotels in the city in my opinion. We stayed here for 2 nights, in their Premium Room, and I absolutely loved its modern style. I could tell right when I entered the lobby that we were going to have an amazing stay.

In terms of location, it's about a 10 minute bus ride from the city centre, and there is a bus stop right outside of the hotel which is really convenient. If you feel like walking, which we did, it's a very straight walk and takes around 50 minutes to get to Frankfurt's old town, and 25 minutes to the central train station. Here are some photos of our stay:

Hotel lobby

The lobby of QGREENHOTEL by Meliá and bar area were really unique which I loved. It was all very new and modern as well which is a bonus and a great first impression. I personally liked all of the clocks and signs with various cities and countries on them.

The mini-market was a very fun addition to the lobby. If you have some cravings in the middle of the night, you can head down to the lobby, grab some snacks, and pay at the reception. They even had small shopping baskets for you to put your things in.

Complimentary biscuits

By the time we got to the hotel I was quite hungry, so these complimentary biscuits were a welcome treat. There was also a lovely handwritten welcome note and some drinks for us to choose from, as well as a coffee machine.

Premium Room

How inviting does this bed look? It was extremely comfortable and very spacious, and best of all there were bathrobes and slippers available so you can get nice and cozy in bed and watch some television. Free WiFi was available throughout the hotel, and the room has heating and air conditioning as well.

Our Premium Room also had a separate living room area, with stylish leather seats and some modern decorations. We also had a nice view of the surrounding area from our room, which was nice to wake up to.

Bathroom

I do love a nice, clean bathroom. I didn't realize until I tried it, but we had an extremely powerful power-shower, and it was incredible to use. There was a separate room near the entrance that had a second toilet in it and a sink, which was great so we could both get ready at the same time.

One more photo of the bathroom is necessary to point out that we had a Jacuzzi in it! It was quite noisy while it was on, so hopefully we didn't disturb the people staying in the room next door too much. The bathroom was also equipped with shampoo, soap and lotions in case you forget to pack your own.

Breakfast selection

There was an amazing breakfast selection at the hotel. It had lot of continental breakfast choices, as well as eggs, beans, sausage, mini pancakes, and breakfast noodles. Having noodles for breakfast was a new thing for me, but I love them so I didn't mind. I would highly recommend adding breakfast to your booking. During the week they also open the restaurant for dinner, but we unfortunately visited on the weekend so we weren't able to try it out.

Breakfast

Breakfast is my favourite meal. Especially when I'm travelling. I like to eat as much as possible so I'm not as hungry during the day and can budget a bit better. So no judging my piled-high plate!

QGREENHOTEL by Meliá is a great hotel to stay at if you want to be close to the train station or the Exhibition Centre. Although it's located in Frankfurt's west end, it's still a good choice of hotel to explore the city centre and old town from, as it's both easily accessible by public transportation and very budget friendly.
